Attempted on 25 Man Heroic Northrend Beast

1st thing when I log in to the server mao mao told me to go and have a look at the guild's raid videos...

Our guild's super 10 man team actually did of Faction Champions with the Resilience Will Fix It (10 player) achievement and actually downed Onyxia with 2 achievements: More Dots! (10 player) and She Deep Breaths More (10 player)



After watching it I went and changed my macro again...if not I will not be able to mass dispel as fast....

Now my dispel button can do both, making it faster and easier to dispell:
/cast [mod:shift] Mass Dispel; [mod:SELFCAST, target=player] [target=mouseover, exists] [] Dispel Magic;

We attempted 25 Man Heroic Northrend Beast again....there were lots of DCing problems and also in the mids of waiting people keeps getting DCed and were forced to down load the patch again and again...if not for that our DPS were quite good and should have been able to down the stupid Yeti (Ice Howl)...

wow I changed a lot of gear today....Velen's Legging of Triumph (lvl 245), Velen's Robe of Triumph (lvl 245) and also Aurora of Transcendence.

Had to trouble Zell to cut the gems for me...while waiting for DC problems, I took the chance to trouble Strisen to help me make the enchant for my Leggings (after that I realized that I can actually learn the tailoring formula LOL...)

Its Brewfest!!

Started my quest from dalaran next to the mail box outside the inn...just talk to the guy commoner flirting with the pretty commoner...pretty obvious place... =)

I see dawyn trying to do the different quest and getting himself killed jumping from high areas in Shattrath...I wonder what is he doing...

OMG thats one of the quest that has to be done for Brewfest!!!

You gotta get yourself drunk to do all the achievements...OMG is blizzard trying to spoil my eyes??!!! Everything is so blur!! I am like walking left and right or rather swaying whenever I am trying to walk straight...I just made new glasses in RL!! LOL...

Look at me trying to complete the Catch the Wild Wolpertinger! Basically you gotta get your self completely smashed "Drunk" then you can be able to see these cute little rabbits and catch them...You can't move while casting the net...else it will not be captured...

WoW...after the effect of the "Drunkness" wears off you feel that the picture quality of WOW is super good man!

Heroic General Vezax

wooot!!!!! We finally down General hard mod!!

Gotten a new boots: Boots of the Servant, gemed and enchanted on the last try we downed generals...thanks to Zell...I must remember to send him back the mats that he lent me LOL...

Attempted Yoggs hard mode...but we were only able to down her till like 4%...in the end we finished Yoggs doing it normal...ran into one of the clouds in one of the attempts...wow I really have to have better stamina to do it...

Got scolded by mao mao...cos I was not dispelling fast enough...guess I have to place back the dispel button to my button 1 for that fight...If I keep pressing shift then 1 will be too slow to dispel...worst I got confused at first on curing disease...OMG! sigh....branded removing bad stuf slowest and healing the worst...Dawn keeps asking me to use decursive...but I really find decursive too stupid...

Mao mao suggested that I use gridstatusraiddebuffs (according to mao mao its for all the debuffs so I don't need to add in myself) and gridindicatorsideicons (which I find his idea to place disease and magic at different sides of the grid...cheer!!)...

Did a very cute quest, Mystery of the Infinite, Redux...fighting along side with my past...so cute...feels like having a twin self fighting for me...LOL...so darn cute!!

Our guild's 1st Val'anyr, Hammer of Ancient Kings

Yesterday when we attempted on Northrend Beasta lot of pple get DCed...I wonder what is wrong...hhmmmm....Oak said that combat log is useless hence I actually removed it...so as to avoid getting DCed during the Northrend Beast...its so simple right click on the combat log window go to settings and remove all the ticks there....kek...

After several tries on Northrend beast today, we managed to down the 2 PITA worms and go into Icehowl phase...sadly I failed the run and he enraged on tank died...Dawn was telling me I might have hit the pilars at the sides of the area cos I was so afraid of the run that I started to press the run key way before I was even being released hence there should be enough time to run... >< so sad... I was so sleepy that I fell when getting off the train to mimiron...Dawn had to perk me up by telling me that our guild is going to get our first legendary after we down Yoggs...hhhhhmmmm.....die die also must get it today....I immdediately become alert!!! Nanny finally got the Legendary the "Val'anyr, Hammer of Ancient Kings" OMG!!! cool leh!! Nanny is now OP man!! He said so himself hee...now we just need for Oak to get his and our guild is really OP!!

Playing with Macro

I have been trying to get my "shift 1" key to do Mass Dispel and just by pressing 1 to Dispel...However no matter how I changed the macro for it, I still end up having to click on my number 1 button after pressing the shift button.

After searching high and low regarding marco (nearly giving up), I found out that my "Shift 1" was actually key bound to "Action Page 1" (wonder what the hell is that?) Anyway, I removed the key bound and finally my macro "/cast [mod:shift] Mass Dispel; [mod:SELFCAST, target=player] [target=mouseover, exists] [] Dispel Magic" can do Mass Dispel finally....

That's not the final aim I want from my macro, I want to be able to shift to dispel and shield without...hhmmm....so this does the job =)

I wonder how I can change it to do mouseover dispel...must take some time to try that out...sigh...

Attempt on General hard mode

We attempted on General hard mode...The range not including the healers were to stand all together right....and had animus down to 2% on our best try...sadly....we din down generals hard mode we were that close...in the end we just downed him the simple way...

guess everyone is so tired...I actually fell asleep in front of my desk and didn't realise that arn had initiated a ready check before the Yogs fight...I actually thought to close my eyes for a little while while waiting for the switch of people...had a long day today...can't imagine that I had woke up since 6.30am...

bye bye Ulduar...today will be the last day we will be doing 25 men Ulduar....

Too sleepy to do my dailies....gotta do it tomorrow sigh....

First try on Fjola Lightbane & Eydis Darkbane

We did 25 men Ulduar after getting kolagan down...Went to do colosium after tat...

The fragment actually drop when nanny is around!! How can that be?? "SEE it DROPS..." he pst me....at first I thought I see wrongly and I thought I had to take back the "gratz" I send to nanny...LOL another instance of blurness...He must be thinking I am going crazy healing...in my own world again...

This time our fight at Faction Champions our raid lead realized that last week we were focusing too much on CC and too little DPS was due to the NPCs...so this week, CC was minimal...and we actually did the fight at first try. =)

I got a Trophy of the Crusade this week and it give me more reason to get my daily Heroics done...

At Fjola Lightbane & Eydis Darkbane, a very fast encounter...when you first start the the fight, 4 portals pop up, 2 dark and 2 light. Click the portal of color to get a debuff of the color. Dark debuff will let you damage the Lightbane and Light debuff will let you damage Darkbane, we were separated into 2 sides....It is important to know which vortex is being cast and taking which debuff...

It was so fun running after white balls...our 3 healers at right side, were all white (while our right DPS took the black portal) and had to run around and "walk" through the white balls to get rid of it and raise stacks of powering up to get empowered....It was quite fun to chase after the balls and heal at the same time...we've gotta try to get the color that matches our debuff, the opposite color ball will damage you...I saw oak running after like a couple of the balls but they were so fast that he actually ran into black ones at the same time...quite scary when u look at the dmg done...our main concerns are having the Twins being touched by too many balls and thus powering up too much, or losing too much DPS to Vortex and being unable to stop the Twin's Pact heal.

I copied the below wholesale from wowwiki, quite interesting cos it explains why our raid leader had gotten us to split into 2 groups:

For Twin's Pact, one of the Twins will shield herself, and then begin casting a 15 second heal for 20% of their maximum HP. The half of the raid not currently attacking her will need to switch colours and DPS her until the shield is down, and then interrupt her heal. After the heal is over, switch your colour back to what you were assigned at the beginning of the encounter.

For the Vortex ability, one of the Twins will begin an 8 second cast. The half of the raid of the opposite colour will need to switch their colour to match the vortex. Failure to switch colors will cause 30,000 damage. The other half of the raid can safely ignore this ability. For example, when Darkbane begins casting Dark Vortex, the Light half of the raid will need to switch to Dark. After the Vortex is finished, the effected players should switch back to their original colors.
