Reflection

Have been trying to find out how to join raid in the guild...accordingly we are suppose to post our application to be part of the team.

Was having great difficulty filling the answer actually....did a lot of reflections on what I have been doing in WoW...

Qns like: "How do your talent and Glyphs choice optimise your DPS/TPS/HPS/Survival" makes me remember the times I spend on trying to find the best glyphs and what talents to use. I believe those who's been reading my blog should have seen how many times I have tried to respec and find what is the best glyphs that helps in my style of healing...

What got to me was this qns: "Please provide a WMO / World of Logs for any raid(s) you have participated in" I have no idea how to answer this one...checked with Zell and he mentioned that our logs are out dated...sigh...

From TerraAustralus, Alamak, Royalty, Reddot, GotMilk, Sentient (chronologically) I have not done any application as such so I am really lost about it....

Terra Australus, since MC time, should the funniest guild that I have joined so far, cos the crap that everyone and all talks so much crap on the vent...very funny and amazingly entertaining...they can play horrible tricks on new comers, getting them to go to a spot to look at Ragnaros and getting the people burnt to death...LOL...horriblely playful ones...only problem I remember we had was about gears...people will get upset when the raid leader or officer over rules on giving who and who the gear first etc...I believe I joined TA till Kara and moved on....

Alamak and Royalty (about the same group of pple in guild), we are very discipline in positioning...only problem is that people don't respect timing...some comes on-line very late for raiding...I guess the problem is that most are working adults...so sometimes when work gets in the way...I believed this is when I joined the guild when they were starting Kara and since I have all the required gears it was really relaxing to play with the guild...I don't have to think about which gear to fight for etc...This is when a few of us I remember Nonni and I leveled a warlock and switched our mains to warlock to help the guild in progression...that time really hard core...enjoyed playing a warlock actually...totally different game...I always tell pple that I am a healer and have been healing all the way...I even leveled with holy (which to most pple thats very amazing-amazingly slow LOL)

We moved to the new server from Moonrunner to Aman'Thul and merged with Reddott which later some of us moved and formed GotMilk. The leaders are very specific in positioning...our raid leader will take time in making the raid understand the strategy of each game and even makes powerpoint to show the people where to stand...amazing right?

In fact all the guilds mentioned above had problem with gears...some even split cos of gear...anyway I always believe that the Guild master or raid leader should have the final say...even if it might be a bit unfair at times...but if you do not like the ruling, then you should be the one leading in raids or even start your own guild if you are so good...there has to be a governing party in a group a leader to say yes or no all the time...thats why we join guild right?

Sentient...I would say is the most discipline guild I have ever joined so far...GM and officer is very strict in rules...no QQ allowed...cannot be late...everyone really place an effort in coming to raid on time...when I first joined I really got culture shock...where should I stand? I asked...answer is just stand anywhere you like and heal...LOL...

Its been a long journey for me...from someone who does not play game till playing WoW for at least 4 hours a day...all the way to raiding for only 2 days a week...till now...Frankly speaking I can't rememeber how it took for me to level from level 70 to 80...seems like it took me a few months....I had to play everyday to get to it man!! Really tough...somehow in a way I enjoy raiding more then leveling...you make friends on the way...

I really suck in PvP, but I love to play battleground, I used it to learn how to heal in Discipline and train my reactions on healing for holy...

I became very worried when Zell told me that discipline priest, LittleBai can heal very well...OMG...after checking out the top healing priest that he was telling me about...I realised that he meant effective heals not the ones reflected in recount...at least my trainings on disc priet has not been wasted so far...lol...cos my undertsanding if disc priest is not about just heals...

Went to sentient forum and found the "World of Logs / WoW Meter Online" with the help of Dawyn (finally free to show me where)

I realised that I treat healing on normal bosses and healing at lich king in a different manner. I should really do some reflection on it...
