1st time Downing Yogg-Saron....

I was still preparing for dinner when I was being summoned to do 25 men, Ulduar...

We wiped once on both mimiron and general...but we downed Yogg-Saron on the first try...WOot!!! My first time @ Yogg's!! So sad that the guild had downed Yogg-Saron for the first time when I was away in Perth celebrating my parent-in-law's 50th Anniversary...But nevertheless having a chance to down Yogg for the first try and also my first time doing it with the guild was good enough...

During the Yogg-Saron fight, I keep hearing Oaklin shouting out for the people to be aware of their "Sanity"...Most commonly heard my name...I am still having an aftermath of not playing WOW for 2 weeks...and still getting used to the buttons that I have changed... (hopefully that is not an excuse only hee...)

Midsummer Fire Festival - Still trying hard....

WOW really WOW!!! We can now have our own pets figuring!!! I just found out when I tried to log in today....They cost like USD $74.85 for a Set of 3 (i.e $24.95 each)

Midsummer Fire Festival - The next day...

Did a lot of exploration achievement since I have to run around to all the different places for the Midsummer Fire Festival quests and achievements and realized that there is really a lot of places that I had not explored while leveling the character!!!

The Midsummer Fire Festival has so many quest... I wonder if I can ever complete them or not ???!!!

Starting the Midsummer Fire Festival

While I was away I was worried that I will miss the coming Midsummer Fire Festival event =) Lucky back on time!!!

Since I am on MC due to slight flu...and given 4 days leave cos of the piggy flu...Its time to do the Midsummer Fire Festival quest and achievement...

To start with "Speak to the Festival Loremaster in any Alliance capital" Where the hell is this person??!! Humph!! Damn...he is outside hall of explorers in IF 65, 24 and the one at SW's @ 49.5, 72.3 What a bother LOL...

1st quest I took...easy $$ - Torch Tossing:

For an age I could not understand why I could not even throw the torches. I keep getting the error message did say 'Requires Midsummer Bonfire' so frustrated to realize what it meant. Ahhhhh!!!!! I need to stand NEXT to the bonfire!!! LOL

Basically you activate the item, and you get a small circle. You place the circle over the brazier that has the hunters mark over it, and left click. Fairly straightforward.

I placed the torches on my toolbar, so I can just hit "1"...had to retake the quest a couple of times...If you do it correctly and toss your torch, you will see the brazier on fire...

2nd Quest..."Torch Catching":

Read from www.wowhead.com that "you merely be standing where its about to land. note that it becomes much easier if you just follow the shadow on the ground." But I have no idea where the shadow is and where the torch is going to land??!!!! Can't figure out a thing!!!

Lucky for me...Methodology told me to set my shadow settings to max before trying...You just have to follow the dot on the ground to be able to catch the torch!!! So easy!! Phew!! quest completed...

I continued with "More Torch Tossing" and "More Torch Catching"...and they can be a real PITA when there are lots of people doing it around you....cos you dunno which dot to follow!!!! sigh....

Next "Unusual Activity":

The item you want drops from Twilight's Hammer members...Since I am more familiar with IF I flew from IF to Menetil Harbor from there took the boat to Theramore and then fly to Ashenvale...

Just kill the cultists in red after looting Twilight Correspondence...using the Totemic Beacon when you're on sand ground, you will summon a ghost wolf think its call "Earthen Ring Guide"....put on your Crab Costume and go west to where a human and 3 Nagas is....quest completed...

Went and killed the last boss in BFD for the first time and got the achievement "Blackfathom Deeps" LOL...got ported back to darnassus...which helps me since I have to complete the "Inform the Elder"...Got "Ahune, the Frost Lord" to summon Ahune in Slave Pens.....hmmmm....too low level for me to see...but I did not miss it....

Finally WOWing!!!

So happy to be back from Perth!!! Was away from WOW for 2 weeks and rarely get to use the internet while I was there has been a torture!!! LOL

First thing came back I joined Zerino, Emo, Uncle J and nublet in doing the slave pens in heroic mod and got myself a new pet Scorchling...Thought it's the dancing lady...so disappointed....But never the less I still got a new pet =)

Cos I logged on to WoW using Dawyn's PC once when I was in Perth I lost all my macro that I have created so far for healing and such...So it too me some time to get settled down...Advice from Hairy is that we should back up the settings that we have before we ever want to use other comps to play WOW...GOOD advise!!!! But too late for me!!!! Sob sob....

Since I have not been playing for 2 weeks...I decided that I must get some practice before I go into raids...so I went and played a few rounds of WSG...Had more then 3 wins in a row for WSG!!!! Can you imagine that??!! I thought there were some events going on but apparently there were none...
