Downloaded Catacalysm again...

I just reinstalled WoW onto my PC since I have accidently missed out my backup on the whole wow folder when I formatted my harddisk....Its really a PITA...

Back to the basic I guess...I have gotten all my mods installed awaiting for configuration...

DBM is the first thing I have installed even though I am not too sure when I will go for raid again I think this is the most important mods that I should have at least...

Next is recount...my first down load was a failure since the zipped file was corrupted...Recount is something that was advised to install since I am now playing Holy and that RL and Chip had said that it will help me buck up and solve my healing too slow and too low problem at the moment....

I actually don't dare to install too much mods at the moment since my connection in the new house is not as good as it used to be in the old area...a bit worried about recount actually...If its gonna cause me problem I guess I will have no choice but to remove it...

Nevertheless, I have installed the essential PitBull (for my unit frames), bartender4 (for my buttons), OmniCC (to check my cool downs).

Which leave the most important mod, grid...I am still deliberating on whether I should be using grid or grid2...one thing for sure I prefer grid2 but it seems to be crashing everytime I zone areas, and furthermore I am unable to gague the distance of players that I can heal...all I can depend on is looking at my cast button...which is not good enough...I need my grid to be able to "signal" to me on whether I can heal my target immediately just at one glance...So should I install grid or grid2??

Holy Priest - Can I really do it?

Did you see any disc priest so far?? Sigh...I am not too sure but leveling as I have done as a holy priest is really a great PITA!! Questing is even more interesting! The mobs just don't die to my puny Smite! OMG doing quest is really a challenge man!

So far I did not dare to go healing in heroics except for the one time I went with the Guild to do it together...My gears and heals does not seems to be up to standards yet...Spending like less then 3-4 hours a week playing wow due to my hectic RL sigh...My new year resolution! Be a better priest!

First thing after gettig myself familiar with the ways of a priest in the new expansion...I realised that there are a great deal for me to catch up since I have tried to level by going to instance (which I really enjoy doing more) I realised that healing while leveling seems a lot easier then when I am in level 85 not too sure why. Dawyne advised me to go to http://elitistjerks.com to find out more about my priest class...

Some in guild actually said that I did not do that well in raid....sigh....I must really buck up on healing I guess...can I really do it?? OMG....

I am level 85 Finally!!

WOW after days of working on leveling I am finally 85!!!

I was trying to explore the places to get experience from them since if I do it in future I will not be able to get any experience if I go around exploring later on in the game...



Finally leveled to 85 and wow!!! Got myself a new trinklet [Tear of Blood] which is better then my [Purified Lunar Dust] ...So far I have not seen the [Tear of Blood] yet...Happy!

There are still a lot for me to catch up with since I have not done any heroics or even doing any of the higher instances...Just hope I can be able to catch up with the rest of the people in the guild asap... =)

Found out that I am capped on my justice points...which means that for the past few days all the instance I have gone for I did not earn new justice points cos I forgot to buy something from the vendor...OMG...should have done it on the first day I started playing cata....what a waste...

I totally have no idea what is anemone...ok I know nothing here is real but still the description should have been more clear LOL....

Rather then: Use the Anemone Chemical Extraction Device to gather 8 Anemone Chemical Samples from the red anemones along the walls of Glimmerdeep Gorge.

Anyway I found out from wowhead that they are some red clouds on the cliff walls...just use the device near them and well do it 8 times and done....

Beq calls them sea creature that has small legs like jellyfish...I think they look more then deformed sun flowers...wa the Anemine Frenzy are really damn irritating...you gotta turn to them then can hit them and they move at high speed round and round you....OMG...damn ouke blood...actually been dpsing as a holy priest...leveling and not respec...should be more puke blood that way...

Odor Coater

Next I was totally blurred by Odor Coater....Found from wowhead again that these "Divers are all around 47:50. They're humans and dwarfs (easy to recognize), and you can find them in groups of up to three (3).



They are Glimmerdeep Divers on the bottom of the sea in Glimerdeep Gorge"...I found them damn cute walking around tight together like that...Just knew they were for some quest...but never know it's for such simple quest LOL...

Anyway been busy trying to level and going to different instance to level my priest at the time being...Queuing for instance is so convenient now...but the wait is longer...

Preloading Cataclysm

Was talking to Irony regarding preloading of Cataclysm before 7 Dec 2010 and he told me to go to the guild's forum to learn more about it...

Pre-orders for the Cataclysm digital upgrade are officially open, and you can start downloading the remainder of the expansion's data the moment your purchase goes through. But what if you're awaiting a Collector's Edition or you don't have the money to upgrade online right now? You don't want to be left waiting for Cataclysm to download and install on launch night.

Thankfully, we've got you covered. There's an easy way to preload all the data you'll need to play Cataclysm the moment it goes live on midnight Dec. 7. Just follow these easy steps:

1. Make sure World of Warcraft and/or the launcher and background downloader are completely closed.
2. Open up your World of Warcraft folder.
3. Open Launcher.wtf in Notepad and change the "accountType" line from LK to CT.
4. Open Config.wtf in Notepad and change the "accountType" line from LK to CT.

Now load up the launcher and you should begin downloading 700 megs or so of new material. That's the last bit of data you need to play on launch night. Enjoy!

Certainly must try it out...I keep worrying about not being able to start downloading the Cataclysm since I wanna get the box....I wonder if still can get the collector's edition...Thanks to Vixyn.... =) and oh ya not to forget IRONY!!!

Malygos

I just realised that I might not have blogged about Malygos fight...tried searching for it but was not able to find...dawyn told me that the boss was long before I started blogging...wow...

Anyway the guild wanted to do it so I joined in to heal and realise that I totally don't remember how to heal while on the dragon....

According to Rai...I am suppose to cast 5XRevivify and then a Life Burst....meaning I have to press 33333 and then 4...at the mean time not getting too close to the boss and of cos I will need to cast a shield on anyone by pressing 5 if anyone being targetted by malygos.... Just writing it down so that next time I will not make the same mistake again...

Luckily Irony switched to heals when I went down and we did down the boss eventually...that was so embarassing...LOL...

I was the first to die for the boss fight =D

Glory of the Icecrown Raider (25 player)

YAY!!! We downed sindragosa again today!!! And I have completed the whole of Glory of the Icecrown Raider (25 player)!!!

I have been having this piece of paper in front of me so that I dun panic when doing Heroic Sindragosa....(of cos it includes the stuff that I needed to bid for the bosses that we are going for) dawyn actually took a picture of it for me.... I can finally throw it away!!!! Dun need to look at it more!!!! LOL...

Now I finally gotten the mount, Icebound Frostbrood Vanquisher that we are after for so long!! Its such a great present before the next expansion!! =) OMG!!!

I can not imagine that I have forgotten to install DBM at the start of the game since I wanted to try out DXE as advised, but I got bro aggro on that day and totally forgot to install it!! Killed Hunggy in the process OMG!! so sorry about that...

Anyway it all ends well =) I completed the Glory of the Icecrown Raider (25 player)!!!
